This painting was inspired by several years working in the Kitchen at a Catholic summer camp and retreat center. As you can imagine, kitchen jobs weren’t the most coveted, and I learned a lot about offering up the sacrifice of the labor and sadness of being behind the scenes and having little time to get to know the campers.
This print has the following quote from Mother Teresa added in text: “Wash the plate, not because it is dirty, or because you are told to wash it, but because you love the person who will use it next. -St. Teresa of Calcutta”
This listing is for a print reproduction of my original pots and pans watercolor with text. It is a fine art, archival quality Giclee print on watercolor paper.

This little print is perfect for the shelf in my kitchen. Members of my family comment about how I seem to enjoy washing dishes. I suppose this could be the reason why?? : )
